Delicious Burger Bowls packed with flavors, customizable to fit all dietary preferences.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or mixed herbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 23 medium potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 500 grams lean beef mince
  • Lettuce (shredded)
  • Cheese (dairy-free or regular)
  • Pickle slices
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (dijon or yellow)
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice (from the jar of pickles)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Prepare Spice Mix: Combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Prepare Potatoes: Wash and cut the potatoes into chip shapes. Pat them dry with paper towels. Toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and half of the spice mix.
  3. Bake Chips: Spread the seasoned potato chips on a baking tray and cook at 200°C (390°F) for 30-40 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. Cook Beef: Heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan. Add the beef mince and cook until browned, then sprinkle in the remaining spice mix.
  5. Make Burger Sauce: Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Adjust to taste.
  6. Assemble Bowls: Divide the potatoes into bowls, add lettuce, cooked beef mince, cheese, pickles, and drizzle with sauce. Serve immediately.
