- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined. Add in the egg, honey, and vanilla extract, whisking until smoothly blended.
- Stir in the all-purpose flour, salt, and ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Mix gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan. In a small bowl, mix the remaining ½ teaspoon of cinnamon with the granulated sugar, and sprinkle over the batter.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares for serving.
Notes
